SOP Development Methodology
Need Analysis
To understand the client requirements in detail, we get “Need Analysis Form” filled. This form consists of some basic questions which are most important to understand their existing challenges & their expectations from us. While understanding the needs from each function, atentative list of SOPs is prepared, with the numbers that needs to be developed by BPX process experts.
Assigning SPOC
Once the deliverables are in black & white, SPOC
(Single point of contact) from BPX is assigned to the
project & the same needs to be done by every function.
These SPOCs are go-getters who act as “Business Analyst” for the project & would ensure adherence to timelines.
Input Sessions
We have well-defined agenda-driven “Input sessions” with the functional heads & decision makers to understand their existing work in detail. The existing work instructions and processes are captured & worked upon.
Process Thinking
Once the Inputs are well received, either through 1-2-1s, email, phone calls or on-the-job audit, our team of experts thoroughly brainstorm, think through & derive at the most practical steps for carrying out those processes, ensuring to get the desired output. Creating new SOPs as well as upgrading the existing work instructions is the agenda for “Process Thinking”.
Output Session
Discussing new SOPs or upgraded SOPs with the Stakeholders. This is a two- way discussion session where the SOPs are finalized considering 360-degree approach. BPX process consultants ensure thatthe finalized SOPs must give optimum output considering all the resources, using minimum timelines& must be simple to implement.
Quality Check
This is the final step of SOP Designing where all the SOP manuals drafted in various formats or SOP software is cross-checked, verified & published for implementation.
As it is rightly said, “Let the experts do their job” , BPX process experts ensure to add value to every organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) across the globe.
In most cases we help organizations in implementing these SOPs with help of IT System Integration, BPM Software Implementation, Process Audits Checklist and Process Improvement Training.
